The Diamond DA62 MPP (Multipurpose Platform) is a factory-modified variant of the proven DA62 twin-engine aircraft, purpose-built for special mission operations. Unlike aftermarket conversions, the MPP features factory-certified hard points, STC/SDA-approved sensor mounting positions, and structural reinforcements designed from the ground up for mission equipment integration.
Powered by twin Austro AE330 turbocharged diesel engines burning standard JET-A fuel, the DA62 MPP delivers exceptional fuel efficiency — approximately 7.4 gallons per hour at loiter (90 knots) — enabling endurance that no helicopter or turboprop competitor can match at this price point. The all-composite airframe eliminates corrosion concerns and reduces long-term maintenance costs.
The aircraft is equipped with a Garmin G1000 NXi integrated glass cockpit and GFC700 autopilot with flight director, providing single-pilot IFR capability and reducing crew requirements for routine missions.
